Guess who’s finally blogging again. That’s right. It’s me - Jess, your friendly Christchurch neighbourhood photographer. Although, I got to admit, this photoshoot wasn’t even in Christchurch. We’re obviously starting off our blogging journey with Hamish + Julia + baby in Piha Beach (which is a freakin gorgeous beach near Auckland) - so settle in, grab a drink + some snacks coz we’re gonna get to know H+J a little bit while we stare at beautiful cliffs+the ocean+some sand+two humans in love. Yeah, I know, it's basically a postcard come to life.

To be honest, these two are basically unreal. They strolled along the beach, hand in hand, looking like a couple straight out of a freaking rom-com. Julia's hair was all windswept, and Hamish’s air was all windswept. Basically a lotta windsweptness. But they were also absolute goofballs, and I loved every minute of their photoshoot and every minute I got to spend with them.

But seriously, there was such a tenderness between these two. Like, what the heck these two love love love each other. Their baby bump was like the icing on the cake, an exciting reminder of the new chapter they were about to start together.

Hamish and Julia, you two are an absolute treat, and I'm so grateful to have been a part of this season of your lives. Your love and laughter are infectious, and I literally have no doubts that you’re amazing parents to your wee one.
