I’ve had a crazy life – I’ve travelled in a house bus in new zealand, I’ve lived in the outback of australia, I’ve renovated house after house, I’ve moved fifteen times and visited more countries than I can count on two hands. but through all of my adventures, I realised one thing. documentation is everything. the insanely millennial catch-phrase, “if you had food, but didn’t instagram it – did it really happen?” may sound shallow and pathetic, but if there is no documentation, your generations to come will never know of your love, your togetherness, where they got that nose-crinkling laugh from, who they look like, why they hate pickles. all of that matters so much. and if you think so too, then I’d say you’re in the right place!
documenting close and familiar moments is my passion – I love humans and memories and their lives and their love. I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember and nothing makes me happier than capturing togetherness in all it’s simple, warm, romantic glory. so, I guess that’s why I’m a photographer. coz I love it. no better reason than that, amiright?
I specialise in couples sessions (anniversary sessions are mah fave), but I also sometimes shoot portraits, and intimate weddings/elopements! I would love to get to know you and your story. ridiculous (this is me. I am so very ridiculous.) and fantastic people are my very favourite, and I bet you a coffee that you are one. let’s meet in iceland! or venice! or nepal! or london! let’s tell some darn good stories and take some damn good pictures. p.s. I’m pretty sure I totally made that insanely millennial catch-phrase. so, er…I guess that totally blows my writing career?
